The Full Moon Free application shows the appearance and events for both sun and moon from your iPhones current location, and you can quickly check any location in the world using the map view. Perfect for photosessions or other activities where you need this information.
The calculations for events are accurate to a few minutes of the US Naval Observatory sun and moon calendars, and it doesnt rely on large astronomical data updates, nor on-line sites.

Saved me considerable embarrassment.
Its hard enough keeping track of the moon while being indoors, but thanks to this app, I can now politely leave dinner parties and turn into a werewolf and be back before its time for dessert. 10/10 would download again. Thanks, Full Moon!
